What Inspires VELUM

Inspiration begins with ordinary moments.

Silence, momory, human vulnerability and the emotions that often remain unspoken become the starting point for every painting

i am less interested in telling people what to feel then in creating space for them to discover their own emotions.

Every painting begins with observation

Layers of oil paint slowly build depth, textur and atmosphere.

Nothing is rushed. Every brushstrocke is part of a conversation between intuition and patience-

I don't expect every viever to see the same thing.

Every painting is completed by the person standing in front of it.

if someone pauses for a moment and feels understood, then the painting fulfilled its purpose.
